Silver Linings

Photographed by Andreas Kristanto

I was really intrigued when I saw this Bao Bao Tote by Issey Miyake for the first time.  I have to say that the construction is really creative and smart. The bag is mainly made out of net-like fabric for the linings and silver pearl plastic triangles as an outer cover. What interests me is that the triangles are placed to form square shapes, and each triangle has gaps between them that allow the net to fold creating various of geometric shapes, cool huh?
To match with my bag, I was wearing metallic Lars platform by Jeffrey Campbell and a casual t-shirt with baby blue skort.

SOMNUS

"Bring A Bit of Light From The Crescent"

A phrase that clearly describes what Somnus Clothing is all about. Inspired by a crescent and nightfall, the brand focuses on unisex streetwear with black and white colours that dominated their collections. In this post, I was wearing Somnus Aeterna t-shirt. I simply love the play of typography on the front part of the shirt, changing the "O" from Somnus to a crescent shaped that mimics the letter of O. Of course, the back part is no less cool than the front one! You can check their latest collection on their Instagram @somnusclothing

The t-shirt was quite big on me as I prefer to wear an oversized tee rather than a fitted one. Wearing a short pants to go with an oversized tee is not in my options because it makes you look 'pantless'. I tend to like wearing a white shirt dress underneath it so it looks like a t-shirt dress instead with more of an edgy look. I paired my t-shirt with Givenchy's slip on and bright red envelope clutch.

Urban Folks Project

Midi skirts are my current favourite right now. I find it very versatile to find a top that goes with the skirt and paired them with sneakers or ankle boots. I was wearing t-shirt from Urban Folks Project, a local brand in Indonesia, to matched with the skirt. Not only that their t-shirts are comfortable but also the fabric is not too thick for warm weather in Indonesia. Furthermore, I love the simple designs on their t-shirts. You can check their collection on Instagram @ufpofficial. Speaking of this skirt, I also wore it in one of my previous post but with different style. Go check it out here.

Creepers

I'm not a jeans person, but if I had to wear one it would be skinny jeans. Adriano Goldschmied, who is known as The Godfather of denim, sure makes super comfortable jeans that even I, a very picky jeans person, fell in love with his creations. Going for all black look with a hint of pop-up color, I wore black t-shirt over my black skinny jeans paired with bright red Givenchy's envelope clutch. My new creepers, it hurts to wear them but I love them because it gives me the boyish edgy look. I hope the leather will softened soon so I can wear them more often.
