BURO Concept Store & Coffee, Bali

During my last trip to Bali, I went to Buro Café which is located on the 2nd floor of Livingstone Café & Bakery, Seminyak. The café is not like any other cafe. Buro merged the idea of a coffee shop, working space and concept store to create a unique hang out place. The place is spacious and cozy, which makes it a great place for working and meeting clients. Buro also offers a range of clothing, accessories, shoes, artworks from local brands for their customers to shop.

Elegant and stylish are the keywords to describe the café. I simply love the combination of clean white and natural woods together. Furthermore, the place has enough windows for its natural lighting inside the café which makes it a good place to take pictures or even outfit pictures.

See what I meant about the lighting? I think it's really nice and this is also one of the reasons why many Instagrammers visit this place.

36 Celcius

It was such a hot day when I took these outfit pictures. Even so, I still prefer taking photos outdoor rather than indoor just because the lighting is so much better and looks more natural. Here I am wearing sleeveless t-shirt with ripped shorts and a boyfriend shirt to cover me a little from the sun. Anyway did you notice that my hair is shorter now? I was being brave enough and cut around 15cm long, finally!

Another Escape

Had another sweet short escape and this time I went to Bali. Greenery and beach are the perfect words to describe this island. I was wearing loose tank tops with shorts to keep it casual, plus an outerwear that I got from Japan so that my skin won't get much darker. My skin tend to get darker or sunburn easily and it will take a while to get it back to normal so I always wear sunblock and avoid getting too much sun exposure. Anyway, sunglasses is a must have item in your bag if you are visiting this island. Mine is from Dior and I really love the reflective green lens.

Gothic Bride To Be - Halloween 2015

October the 31st, one of the most awaited day of the year. As someone who loves myths and folklore stories and other mythical creatures such as witches and vampires, of course, Halloween always excites me. This year look for Halloween was inspired by the goth culture and undead bride from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. I borrowed my friend's dress, who is a designer, and made my own flower crown to create this darkly romantic gothic look.

The Red Devils

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of football. However, since I went to Old Trafford stadium during my last trip to England, of course, I had to get some souvenirs from their shop. I bought two items which are Manchester United football jersey and a t-shirt. I do love the MU's nickname, "The Red Devils", and that is one of the reasons why I bought the t-shirt. The second reason is that I always had a thing with  black and red combination.

Wore my t-shirt with a skort. A cap and sneakers to give the casual and sporty look. Some gold accessories to add a little bit of 'luxe" to the whole look.

Red Feathers

Last Saturday I attended a gathering event held by OOTD Indo, which the biggest online platform for Indonesia's street style. I was wearing a black t-shirt with nicely printed red wings on the neck and shoulder area. The T-shirt brand is called Marcelo Burlon and he's one of my favourite designers. Well, probably my current most favourite since I really love his prints.

One of my trick for oversized t-shirt is to wear a dress shirt underneath so it does not look as big on me. I made the dress shirt especially for this sort of style. Completed my look with red Givenchy's envelope bag to match the red print and pony hair skate shoes from Céline in navy. A little studs on the wrist to give a bit of rocker/punk look.

Hidden Place

I went to Bandung again last week and had a chance to visit the Floating Market there. The place is just like any other floating market in Asian country which is designed to look traditional, but as I was strolling around the area I found this spot with a lot of plants including vine plants on the wall. I always love seeing a lot of vine plants as it reminds me of some hidden house in a secret garden.

On that day, I was wearing eye printed tee with midi tutu skirt. Completed my look with a pair of comfy sneaker from Kenzo, which is one of my favourite shoes to wear for travelling.

London Calling - Travel Diary

Getting closer to the end of my trip, and finally arriving in London on the 6th day! Here's the famous Big Ben taken from London's Eye. Such a breathtaking architecture, don't you agree?

One of the places that you have to visit while in London is, of course, The Buckingham Palace. I recommend going there in the morning since there will be a lot of crowds in the afternoon until evening. The good thing about going to UK in August besides the perfect weather is that Buckingham Palace is open for public throughout the month. Queen Elizabeth will be staying in her other castle in August and that's why the Buckingham Palace will be open for public in that month. I had the chance to go inside the palace and it was absolutely amazing. Lucky Me! Too bad that there were guards everywhere and we are not allowed to take pictures.

Another mandatory tourist photo spot is the famous red telephone box. They are literally everywhere and eye-catching. Although, I must warn you guys, check the inside first before entering. Sometimes some of them smells bad.

Taken in front of London's Tower Bridge. Never fails to amaze me with their astonishing architecture.

Another place that you should visit in London is Trafalgar Square. The place was built as a commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar, a British naval victory over France and Spain, which was known as Napoleonic Wars. It's funny how the print on my tee matches the Lion statue. Big doggy and small doggy haha!

After visiting London, I went back to Scotland to visit Glasgow and Loch Lomond. Here's a few photos from the trip!

I went to Kelvingrove art gallery and museum and suddenly the pipe organ keyboard was being played. It was the first time I heard someone played that type of musical instrument and I was really amazed by it.

The famous Glasgow Cathedral. One of the really old churches here in Scotland. I think this one was built in the late 12th century.

Finally the end of my trip. Arrived in Loch Lomond and I stayed at Cameron House Hotel. The hotel has this castle-like building. There was not much to do here in Loch Lomond since it is a countryside. The scenery was really beautiful though.

Lastly, found this small castle in Loch Lomond. Behind the castle is this breathtaking view of the lake in Loch Lomond!

That's all for my trip now! Hope you guys enjoyed my travel diary!

Introducing: Wallet Wall

There are a lot of crimes that happens every single day. Not to mention that new type of offenses keeps popping up as well and that includes Cyber Crime.

Have you guys ever heard of RFID?
To be honest, this is the first time I have heard such thing, and I'm glad I know about it know. RFID means Radio Frequency Identification Device. It is a method of automatic identification and data capture. RFID chip is so small that probably we don't even realize that it is there. Our credit cards and passports have RFID tags embedded and because of that RFID identity theft has been around for years stealing our data and doing card skimming.

The simplest way to protecting yourself from RFID-based fraud is to buy and RFID protected wallet, which when closed, criminals cannot read/scan your data. That is the type of wallet that Wallet Wall is and has to offer.
Wallet Wall features a protective layer that prevents RFID devices from reading your cards while they are in your wallet. With Wallet Wall, they ensure that you are well protected and still looks great.

One of their signature and the most popular product is this RFID Wall Wallet in classic brown leather. The wallet is made from real cowhide. The leather is very soft, and brown colour makes it look classic and ageless. In addition, there are 3 utility compartments designed to put cash, cards, photos and perhaps some paper notes as well. This wallet features an RFID blocking technology through protective layers, that will protect all of its content from being digitally stolen.

Visit their website Walletwall.com to find more about RFID and data theft that has been around us for so long without noticing them.

You can also purchase RFID Wall Wallet from their website!

Manchester To Liverpool - Travel Diary

From Edinburgh now to Manchester. Famous for its soccer team, of course I had to go to Old Trafford Stadium and take a tour. The Manchester united team doesn't practice there and only use the stadium if they are having a match. The stadium is so big that could fit more than 70.000 people. What really attracted me was how green and nice the grass field was. Well, it has to be since it cost around  ‎£ 1.000.000 just for caring the grass.

I never get bored seeing historical buildings that was made a long time ago. This is one of the Cathedral that I saw in Manchester. Really, such amazing architecture.
