Kiehl's Grand Opening Ceremony!

Last Friday I went to Kiehl's Grand Opening Ceremony at Galaxy Mall, Surabaya, Indonesia. The event was fun! The brand manager, Regina Widjaja, gave us a brief introduction about Kiehl's which started as Kiehl Pharmacy in 1851, New York. She, then, did the ribbon cutting ceremony accompanied by her co-worker, and now the store is officially open! Let's have a look, shall we?

One of the shop assistants explained that Kiehl's products are proudly made from natural ingredients, and that is why all of their products are fragrance-free. If there is any trace of scent, it comes from the essentials of the ingredients such as oil.

Kiehl's products are not only produce skin care but also body and hair care as well. Their products are for both woman and men, and now they have started producing products for baby too!

In the store, customers can have a free consultation with the beauty assistant so that customers can get the right products and treatments for their skin type.

There is also a section where all of the top 10 customer favourite products are being displayed. Here are the list:

1.  Powerful-Strength Line Reducing Concentrate
2. Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50
3. Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
4. Midnight Recovery Concentrate 30 mL
5. Derm Wrinkle Filler
6. Ultimate Thickening Shampoo
7. Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion
8. Ultra Facial Cream
9. Derm Solution Blemish Control Solution
10. Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream

I have not try all of the products yet, but the Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 is really good. Even though it has SPF 50, it is not sticky at all when you wear it. Plus, it helps protect your skin against pigmentation irregularities and premature skin aging. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 is a must have too! It helps to soothe dry lips, prevent lips from drying and, best of all, keep your lips glossy. Do not forget to try their vitamin C as well. It makes my skin looks brighter, fresher and smoother.

If you are having trouble in finding gifts for your loved ones, then rest assured because there is a 'Gifting Station' at Kiehl's store!

Last but not least, here are some photos of us! The model was dressed in Lady Liberty costume as a symbol of the brand that originates from New York City. Don't forget Dr. Skull as the icon of Kiehl's since it started as a pharmacy.

Singapore Getaway

I went to Singapore two weeks ago for a short holiday. Even though I had been to Singapore countless time, I never explore the country properly except for the shopping malls on Orchard Rd of course. So this time, I did a little bit of exploring with the guidance of my friends. But first, here are some of my outfit photos that I wore on that day.

Photographer : John Caine

T-shirt - Kenzo // Watch - G-shock x One Piece // Skirt - Choies // Shoes - Givenchy // Bag - Topshop

Photographer: Andre Wayang

So let's explore Singapore! First Stop was the National Museum of Singapore.
 The infamous white wall interior.

Nothing much to see there because a part of the museum was closed or under construction.
Second destination was Fullerton Square. You can see the famous Marina Bay Sands from here! I really do love the architecture here.

Lastly, after spending the rest of the day at MBS, I went back to Orchard Rd and was greeted with beautiful night lights from the Shopping Malls. Here is my favourite.

Grey Enhancement

Giant Bow - Asos // Dress - Japan // Bag - Proenza Schouler PS1 // Rockstud Bracelets - Valentino // Shoes - Stuart Weitzman

I have been wearing too much black lately. What can I say, I love how black gives me the darker vibe and more stylish look. However, If you just wear all plain black -let's be honest- It could get a little boring. That is why sometimes accessories are important to 'spice' things up. In this outfit, I wore an oversized grey coloured bow over a black dress, and I think that what makes my outfit even more catchy despite the wide hat.
I was wearing my Proenza Schouler bag in green and blue colour to add a bit of colour to my outfit. Oh and lastly, did you guys notice the nice lace on the sides of my dress?

Little Witch

Shirt - The Editor's Market //  Skirt - Choies // Hat - All About Eve // Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell // Bag - Céline

Like the title says, today I dress up in a witchy inspired outfit. Black coloured shirt completed with a gold chain embellishment on the collar, wine coloured velvet skirt that gives a hint of blood aesthetic, and I finished the look with wide black brim hat and black ankle boots. I think that the outfit emphasis on the hat because it gives the witchy aura when worn.

Old School

Satchel - Cambridge Satchel // Shirt - Sportsgirl // Skirt and shoes - Japan

What inspired this outfit was the checkered circle skirt that I bought when I went to Japan last year. It is widely known that Japanese idolizes their school uniform. When I was in Japan, I really like seeing all the school girls wearing ultra cute uniforms such as gathered skirt with sailor tops, bows and cardigans. So, I tried to dress up a little bit in a school-like fashion. In this outfit I wore a white shirt, a satchel, socks paired with white dolly-like platform shoes, and don't forget the most important of all, the checkered skirt to create the look.

Dress to Impress

There is a variety of occasions where you'd want to dress up nicely, whether at a job interview, on a first date or at an evening gala. Of course, every woman wants to dress to impress for every occasion that they attend. Dress for the occasion and wear something comfortable are the two most important thing when choosing yours dresses. Here in promtimes.co.uk you can find a wide range of dresses from prom dresses, cocktail dresses to wedding dresses.

Black Bridesmaid Dress (Here)

Ivory Cocktail Dress (Here)

I think these two dresses are very elegant and classic. It brings out the feminine side of the wearer. Therefore, are perfect for formal occasions such as date especially for an anniversary date or even a first date, wedding party, cocktail dinner or high tea party.

Asymmetrical Cocktail Dress (Here)

This dress is my favorite one. Not only that the color caught my attention but also the details on the center too. I simply love the twist on the front that gives an asymmetrical drape on the hem of the dress and makes it look sexy. This dress will be perfect for a dinner date or even birthday dinner.

Well, go check out their store and find the right dress (or dresses) for you!

Back On Track

Finally, I can update my blog again after neglecting my blog for about a month. My laptop broke down; so I had to wait until I get a new one.  These outfit photos were taken a while ago in Melbourne, and this is the last outfit photos that I took before going back to Indonesia. Going for street style look with varsity jacket, black tee, pleather shorts and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes to match up the outfit. Tell me what you think!
